I’m running for Congress to rebuild a nation that puts working families first — not party insiders, foreign governments, or billion-dollar corporations. My mission is to restore fairness, independence, and dignity in every corner of American life. That means creating a humane, efficient immigration system; strengthening Social Security, Medicare, SSI, and SNAP; and cutting taxes and red tape for small businesses and working people.I will fight for true state empowerment, energy independence built on U.S. labor and materials, and major investments in infrastructure, transportation, and housing. I will protect civil rights — including LGBTQ+ rights and the restoration of Roe v. Wade — while keeping the focus on the economic crises families face every day.My leadership will be independent, not controlled by party bosses. I will champion tax fairness, restore the SALT deduction, and ensure the wealthiest pay what’s needed to secure our nation’s future. I support bold solutions for border security and housing that are humane, efficient, and American-made.Above all, I believe in a government that takes care of its own people first — protecting seniors, supporting families, empowering workers, honoring immigrants, and investing in America from the ground up.
MY PLATFORM FOR OUR DISTRICT
1. Immigration Reform
Make DACA permanent.
Ban masked, military-style raids unless a judicial warrant is presented and local officials (mayor, fire chief, police chief, county sheriff) are notified in advance.
Guarantee public defenders to all persons detained in raids.
Green Cards, once issued, can never be revoked and require no reapplication.
Optional “Gold Card” ($13M/person or $50M/family) with Green Card rights; proceeds reduce the national debt.
Schools, churches, and sanctuary jurisdictions designated as protected zones where ICE arrests/deportations are prohibited.
2. SNAP / Food Stamps
Increase funding and expand eligibility/access for low-income families.
3. SSI / Disability Benefits
Expand funding and access; remove burdensome requirements and delays.
4. Small Business Tax Reform
Lower taxes, end excessive audits, and cut red tape for small/family businesses.
5. Restore States’ Rights
Federal funding returned to states at least equal to what they pay in federal taxes.
Prohibit federalizing a state’s National Guard without the governor’s consent.
6. Pause Foreign Aid
Halt non-emergency foreign aid for 20 years (excluding NATO and rare emergencies); fix America first.
7. Statehood
Grant statehood to Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.
8. Energy Independence
Invest in all energy: fracking, oil, nuclear, hydrogen, EVs.
Build pipelines linking Canada–U.S.–Mexico.
Expand EV credits/charging; fund nuclear & hydrogen.
100% U.S. labor/materials; companies fully liable for damage.
9. Restore Roe v. Wade
Codify Roe federally; reaffirm support while prioritizing urgent crises.
10. LGBTQ+ Rights
Defend same-sex marriage and civil rights; support trans rights with prioritized passage after urgent crises stabilize.
11. Social Security & Medicare
Increase funding; lower eligibility/retirement age.
No taxes on tips or Social Security.
Universal benefits; tax top 1% indexed to program costs.
Lock funds in a non-openable emergency savings account.
12. Infrastructure Expansion
Expand trains, buses, and high-speed rail (incl. CA HSR).
Mandate public-private partnerships; 100% U.S. labor/materials.
13. Cut Environmental Red Tape
Fast-track housing and mega-projects to create jobs and reduce homelessness.
14. Independent Leadership
Independent voting; district-wide presence; accountability beyond party leadership.
15. National Tax Policy
Restore/expand SALT; use President Biden’s tax policies as a baseline with added working-class benefits.
16. Border Security & Housing
Dual-purpose border infrastructure: HUD housing above; processing/courts below.
Schools, parks, community services included.
No wrongful deportations due to underfunding.
Land purchased at double market value; 100% U.S. labor/materials.
17. Federal Court Reform
Judicial reform; explore Supreme Court and appellate expansion to reduce backlogs; constitutional and transparent.
18. Middle East Peace & International Stability
Israel and Palestine as U.S. states with equal rights under federalism.
Protect cultural/religious autonomy; move UN HQ to Jerusalem.
19. National Unity: Putting People Over Parties
Unite Democrats, Independents, Republicans, Greens, and Working Families voters.
Name extreme wealth and corruption as the real divider; govern independently.
20. Ukraine Defense & Global Security
Full support for Ukraine; identify Russia as the primary aggressor; strong NATO deterrence and sanctions.
21. China Policy: Economic Independence
Designate China as the primary economic adversary; bring back manufacturing and contracts; secure supply chains.
22. World Peace Through Strategic Alliances
Strengthen ties with India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Hungary, Belarus; deter Russia, China, Iran via diplomacy, economics, and defense.
23. Renewed Manifest Destiny: Voluntary North American Union
Voluntary, democratic integration framework for U.S., Mexico, Canada, Greenland, Cuba; optional statehood/commonwealth via referenda; protect sovereignty and culture.
24. Education Reform: Practical Skills, Academic Choice & All School Types
Support public, charter, and private schools.
Skills pathways: agriculture; practical math/Excel/AI; woodshop; welding; driving; mechanics; business; flexible period.
Advanced math, English, science, honors remain available; students may choose them instead of the open period.
Trades and college-prep valued equally.
25. District Transportation & Regional Prosperity (Oxnard–Santa Paula–Fillmore–Castaic)
Build a Metro/Amtrak line from Oxnard to Castaic with stops in Santa Paula and Fillmore.
Add parallel light rail with more local stops.
Cut congestion, expand access to jobs/education/healthcare, revitalize downtowns, enable TOD.
